Description
This picture is printed borderless on a heavy, textured paper – Giclée Hahnemühle German Etching.
The meaning of this picture is twofold to me – in a sense stereoscopic.
I recall my summer holidays as a child and as a teenager to Durdle Door all summer with my Mum.
I loved the sea – so infinite as it seemed then and with such scope.
It was the time when as a child I learned.
Again, the thought is of a time spent on an island called Amorgos.
The island doesn’t have an airport.
A setting of The Big Blue: it is exquisite.
